Emergency First Aid at Work

Validity: 3 Years

Low risk hotels, restaurants and cafes may not require full first aid trained staff and may opt for this shorter course covering the essential skills. This course can be delivered on your own premises using example hazards and potential injuries meaning your team are better prepared to deal with the emergencies you may be faced with.

  • Treatment of an unconscious casualty
  • Resuscitation
  • Shock
  • Bleeding
  • Common workplace injuries
  • Severe trauma
  • Use of defibrillators

This one day Emergency First Aid at Work meets the requirements of the First Aid Risk Assessments for most commercial hotel and restaurant work environments.  The syllabus for this course has been specified by the relevant awarding bodies and can only be taught by approved providers of the First Aid at Work course or Ofqual (QCA) registered providers.
