Fire Training

Fire Training is essential in the management of effective communication with your team on what is expected to happen in relation to fire prevention, and what to do if there is an emergency.  Delegates are trained to recognise and mitigate fire hazards and reduce the risk to human life and property in the event of a fire emergency.

Course content:

    • Understand how fire works
    • Understand human behaviour in an emergency
    • Remain calm and manage guests in an emergency
    • Be vigilant to fire hazards in the work place
    • Consider safe storage of chemicals and understand work practices
    • Understand the emergency procedures in your own hotel and kitchen

On completion of the course, the delegate will receive the SQA approved, nationally recognised Fire Safety Certificate.
