This one-day course will cover many of the fundamentals that all good bar staff should know.
The course will cover:
Legislation associated with the licence trade eg types of licences, trades description, permitted hours and rights of entry.
What is alcohol and strengths of alcoholic drinks.
Generic opening/closing procedures and bar service.
Basic bar skills, clearing/polishing glasses, opening/serving wine.
Cellar management, stock rotation, cleaning pipe lines, changing beer kegs and gas cylinders.
COSHH and manual handling.
Customer care and dealing with situations.
