The UK Government has announced of a new 1 billion Future Jobs Fund. The fund aims to create 150,000 jobs between October 2009 and April 2011 for young people and others who face difficulties in the labour market.
Hospitality Training is currently working on a partnership bid with Aberdeen City Council's Community Planning Department. We hope to secure funding for 10 job creation places in Hospitality from October 2009.
Several thousand pounds will be made available to employers who are prepared to create a job that pays at least minimum wage, and will employ a client of the Job Centre for 25 hours a week of more. The employment period must last at least 6 months and will include a training aspect which will be managed by Hospitality Training.
