The QA Level 2 Award in First Aid Essentials (RQF) qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic first aid to people they are caring for when dealing with an emergency.

QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.

QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)

This course is relevant to any persons with duties, or may potentially hold duties as a first aider in the workplace under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Delegates are trained to a standard where they can administer basic First Aid in the workplace until more qualified help arrives.
